Whether your dog is a playful pup, a dignified senior, or somewhere in between, our dog photography sessions are tailroed to highlight their one-of-a-kind spirit. From bold action shots to soulful close-ups, we'll create images that you'll treasure for a lifetime.
Meet Our Photographer, Emily.
Hi there! I'm a photographer, dog lover, and proud co-owner of Red Fern Pet Lodge. What started as snapping fun daycare moments turned into a passion for pet portraiture. I have years of experience working hands-on with dogs of all breeds and personalities. I love bringing out each pup's unique personality - whether it's goofy, regal, or downright stubborn - and turning it into art you'll treasure forever.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me running Red Fern with my family, spoiling my dachshund Rip (who thinks he runs the place), and dreaming up creative ways to make dogs shine on camera!
Whether your dog is calm, chaotic, or somewhere in between, I'm here to make them feel comfortable and celebrated.
Your Next Steps to Beautiful Portraits
Step 1: Schedule
Fill out the booking form below. Tell me a little about your dog(s), which package you're interested in, and your preferred sessions style. I'll reach out within 1-2 business days to confirm your package.
Step 2: Session
Together we'll create a relaxed, fun environment to capture your dog's personality. Read more in the Essentials section about how to set your pup up for success on their photoshoot day!
Step 3: Selection
Within two weeks, you’ll receive a gallery of watermarked, unedited preview images. Choose your favorites based on your package. Once you’ve selected your images, I’ll begin editing & ordering your products.
Step 4: Showcase
Here comes the fun part! You’ll receive your final, high-resolution photos within two weeks—plus the prints or products included in your package!

Ready to Book?
Start by completing the form below with a little info about your dog(s) and which package you’re interested in. We'll reach out within 1-2 business days to schedule your session and get the pawty started!
Set Your Pup Up for Success
1. Exercise First: Give your pup a little exercise before their photoshoot to help take the edge off! We just don't want them to be too tired or they won't have the energy to show off their personality.
2. Bring Treats & Toys: We'll use their favorite goodies to bring out their personality and keep their attention.
3. Groom Ahead of Time: A brushed coat and clean face go a long way in photos! Consider scheduling a groom day of for your dog at Red Fern so they are fresh and clean.
4. Accessories & Props: You're welcome to bring a festive bandana, bow or bow tie, or another favorite accessory as long as your pup is comfortable wearing it!
5. Stay Calm: If you choose an in-person session it's important to stay relaxed as dogs mirror your energy. Our photographer is very patient and will allow for your dog to get used to the studio and will take the lead on posing your pup!
FAQs
Can I bring more than one dog?
Yes! A second dog is an additional $100. Max 2 dogs per session. If you have more than 2, inquire in the comment section of the interest form to discuss details.
Please note: We'll do our best to capture multiple dogs together, there's no guarantee we'll get perfect group shots. Dogs who respond well to basic commands like sit and stay tend to photograph best - especially when working as a duo.
What if my dog is shy?
We take as much time as necessary to let your dog adjust to their surroundings. This is a new environment with new people- we respect that most dogs need a little extra time to get comfortable. We have unlimited amount of patience for all animals!
Can I get a photo with my dog?
Absolutely! We always ask if the parent(s) wants a photo with their pup at the end of the session.
