Our Story
We are the Andrews family, owners & operators of Red Fern.
We are the Andrews family, Dick and Garnet and our beautiful daughters Lauren, Emily, and Allison! This chapter in our lives began several years ago in a typical family conversation at the dinner table. We, like so many others, found ourselves recovering from a severe downturn in the real estate market. My wife Garnet and I were looking to rent or make use of some commercial rental space and we challenged our children to be involved with any ideas for its use. We were open to the idea of a family business.

The idea that stuck was a dog daycare. Having dogs of our own, we often encountered difficulty in finding dog care whenever we went away on vacation. We soon discovered many of our friends had the same problem. So, with a dream, a large vacant building, a love for dogs, and a lot of faith, we set out on an adventure.

On June 1st, 2019, that dream became a reality as the Red Fern Pet Lodge officially opened. Since then, we have worked every day to improve our abilities to care for dogs. And we couldn’t have done it without the tireless efforts of our wonderful staff.
We give thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who we believe has guided us through many ups and downs and continues to give us hope for the future. Our family and staff remain committed to providing the absolute best care for every dog that walks through our doors and we look forward to doing so for many years to come!

You want to know your dog(s) is in capable, caring hands, getting the best treatment and having a blast. You want to know that, as a dog owner, you are doing the best you can do for your dog.

Outstanding service can sound like a marketing term to most. However, at our facility, we embrace it as our ultimate mission. Our customers have certain expectations for how their dog is cared for, the treatment and interactions they experience at our facility, and the results they desire to see and feel in the happiness of their dog. It is our mission to deliver those results consistently and professionally and to go above and beyond our customers' expectations.
